Keep your school’s material identifiable

Use the organisation bank for material your school maintains. Preserve the authority, grade, subject, medium and topic of each question, along with its source and answer. A passage, diagram or data table that a question depends on must remain with it.

  • Check imported text, equations, choices and answers.
  • Keep source provenance separate from the question format.
  • Use clear review responsibility before teachers reuse material.

Understand the public-bank option

The assessment builder offers a public-bank source separately from the organisation’s bank. Available public questions can be used for exam generation through the supported workflow. Their presence does not mean they have been imported into your school’s own bank.

Select the curriculum before narrowing the question mix

The builder starts with a curriculum area. Where available for that area, topics and question classifications help narrow the selection. Available controls depend on the selected bank and curriculum; confirm the choices displayed in your workspace before relying on a particular filter.

Make review a repeatable school process

Check each question for a complete response demand, correct answer, readable notation and appropriate difficulty. Keep the selected material aligned with the textbook edition and lesson actually taught.

  • Correct source errors instead of reproducing them silently.
  • Check a sample paper after import or organisation changes.
  • Record the source and review date for reusable material.
